No Whining Here - Book Signing & Speaking in LA

This has been an amazing, challenging and ultimately successful past two months. I have emerged from computer and iphone hell and have triumphed over Technology! My hard drive died and my iPhone was lost so I was in a state of dire distress. However I persevered and I'm hoping that it has made me a better Savvy Granny than before! 

I am totally paying my dues and will be a bona fide Google Granny when my podcast SavvyGrannyCast.com is launched on iTunes later this year. 

I just wanted to thank Candace, the manager at the B. Dalton Booksellers in the LA Mall for hosting a most delightful book signing at her store. The store is wonderful and I met so many friendly and fun lunch time visitors.  

Also, Lida the director of the Jewish Center in West Hollywood for inviting me to speak on Senior Whining! It is a lovely facility and it was a pleasure to meet everyone there.

As you can see from his picture, Joe is a hoot plus he is quite aware of all the difficulties raising kids since he has been a single Dad for a long time. As you can guess, he loves doing stand up and no one ever tells him to sit down.

I had to admit that I too can be a Whiner! I had to laugh about her husband and all the pillows though, because I too can't understand all the pillows - especially the ones we're not allowed to use! I blame it all on HGTV! But here I go whining again!

Only now I catch myself...and smile. I think I'm gonna go out and buy another pillow for our bed!"
